'Not that many Delavan stores'

Print Article

Regarding the article about development in Delavan, until the recent addition of Fleet Farm, the Delavan interchange hasn't had any more major retailers pop up.

In fact, it looks a lot like the Milwaukee Road area in Beloit. A Walmart surrounded by haircut places, Culver's, Starbucks, gas station etc. They too have a Shopko closing.

With Fleet Farm and, someday Meijer, one wonders how long other retailers such as Tractor Supply and Piggly Wiggly will remain in Delavan.

Also, the article mainly talks about Walworth County as a whole. Viewing through that lens, the developments and retail additions in Janesville should be considered for our county-wide area.
