'Wong, Charles on school board'

Print Article

Vote for Pam Charles because she offers our community, students and staff strong leadership, commitment and experience.

During her six-month tenure as school board president, Pam has led the board through board goal setting and will have this current board complete an evaluative assessment of their work before the newly elected board members are sworn into office. Neither of these board governing tools has been implemented for several years. This April, the newly formed school board will have the advantage of starting with board goals and a firm governing foundation.

Additionally, it is because of Pam's steadfast and focused leadership along with a dedicated and unified board that we were able to meet our self-imposed March deadline in hiring Dr. Munro as the new School District of Beloit superintendent. On July 1st, Dr. Munro will assume his superintendent responsibilities. He will need support and informed guidance from the school board to move our district forward. He will need board members with school governing and committee experience. Pam can offer him that guidance and support with her long-standing knowledge of the district and with her noteworthy board experience.

There are four school board open seats. Pam Charles and John Wong both deserve to be re-elected for their unwavering dedication and hard work these past few months in stabilizing the governing needs of our district by serving on the board of education.
