'Pam Charles for the board'

Print Article

Now is a time when experienced leadership is needed for the Beloit School Board. Pam Charles has served on the board for 6 years and is the current board president. She has been a resident of Beloit for 22 years and her two children are graduates of the school district.

Under Pam's leadership, the board has restructured committees to include staff and community members which allows for transparency and open communication. This is extremely important in this time of transition. They have formed an AdHoc committee to review and redesign the district's student code of conduct which is a key issue for the district moving forward. The board has also contracted with a third party provider to conduct teacher exit interviews in an effort to retain good teachers in our district.

Pam's focus for the future is to stabilize our district leadership. She wants to provide a safe environment for our kids and teachers. Pam also will provide support for our new superintendent as he begins his role as the leader of the Beloit schools.

I personally know that Pam is a strong supporter of the arts and extra-curricular activities in the School District of Beloit. Our children deserve this advocacy both in and out of the classroom.

On April 2, vote Pam Charles for Beloit school board.
