'Do not forget the homeless'

Print Article

At this time of giving, we urge Beloiters not to forget the homeless people in our community.

Please support The Sparrow's Nest homeless shelter with charitable donations and volunteer time. Since 1996, Ron and Julie O'Leary have unselfishly donated their time and home to provide food and shelter to single men, and women, and families, including many veterans.

The Sparrow's Nest has an accepting but structured environment. Julie and Ron receive no salary. All donations go directly to homeless services.

Please call The Sparrow's Nest at 608-362-8215 to inquire as to their specific needs or to volunteer. Tax deductible donations may be mailed to 1816 Harrison Ave., Beloit, WI 53511.

All donations are gratefully appreciated.
