'What responsibility does board bear?'

Print Article

Thank you, Nora Gard. Your letter in the November 13 Opinion page substantiates my earlier points.

Dr. Childs stated that board members got the information on Saturday prior to the meeting. It is only now that we hear you say you couldn't open the document. You did not say this at the public meeting.

Board members had the information and all voted to approve. Now you proffer that new staff may not have known the pertinent policy.

As I stated, you and Pam Charles knew the policies. What responsibility do you bear in voting to approve what you assert is an incomplete recommendation rather than asking for clarification?
