'Intersection needs to be made safe'

I also thank you for fixing a bad intersection at the southwest corner entrance/exit by Menard's. What a change for the better with the 4-way stop.

A few months ago I contacted someone at City Hall about the need for a stop sign at the intersection of Menard's parking lot and Freeman Parkway by the truck stop. I was told that is not a street and a stop sign there would only be erected by a request from the owner of Menard's.

If that is not a street needing traffic control how did the above intersection qualify as it is the same road?

I travel Freeman Parkway every day and have come very close to being hit by vehicles that exit the Menard's parking lot without stopping. Please make that intersection safe, also.
