Austin Montgomery/Beloit Daily News Construction work continues at the site of the School District of Beloit's new welcome center, located at the end of Fourth Street along Maple Avenue at the north end of the Beloit Memorial High School campus. The $5.5 million facility will open next year. On Wednesday, crews worked on further site excavation as the structure begins to take shape.
