CHICAGO (AP) Grain futures were lower Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Dec. delivery declined 12 cents at $5.03 a bushel; Dec. corn was fell 2.60 cents at $3.7140 a bushel; Mar. oats was off 2.40 cents at $2.83 a bushel; while Jan. soybeans lost 8.40 cents at 9.03 a bushel.

Beef mixed and pork lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Dec.live cattle rose .30 cent at $1.1802 a pound; Jan. feeder cattle was unchanged at $1.4445 a pound; Dec. lean hogs fell 1.40 cent at .5490 a pound.
