OLA students learn about personal safety

Photo provided Beloit police officer Ryan Flanagan captivates a class of middle school students at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic School (OLA), where he gave a presentation on personal safety issues affecting today's students. Among other things, Flanagan helped students know how to recognize various police uniforms and vehicles, what to do if they found a dangerous object, how to recognize adults who are safe to ask for help, as well as cyber safety.
