Thomas "Tom" C. Shultz, 67, of Beloit, WI, passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at his home after a long illness.
He was born on December 18, 1950 in Beloit, WI, the son of Wilma (Hartwig) and Herbert "Herb" Shultz. Tom was a 1969 graduate of Beloit Memorial High School. He served in the National Guard. Tom married Janice L. Dick on August 8, 1986 in Beloit, WI.
Tom worked at Beloit Corporation in the pattern shop for 25 years. After Beloit Corp., he worked for Atlas Pattern Shop then becoming a co-owner. Tom was an avid fisherman, hunter and Wisconsin Badger fan.
Tom is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Janice L. Shultz; daughter, Heather (Gary) Harnack of Beloit, WI; step son, Jeremy (Gwen) Lindstrom of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; seven grandchildren, Abby, Chase, James, Tierney, Lillie, Varick and Izzy; his mother, Wilma Shultz of FL; sisters, Linda (Sal) Uveno and Debbie (Steve) Burner both of FL; father-in-law, Merlin "Pete" Staskal of Beloit, WI; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews; and lets not forget his faithful companion Dachshund dog, Hannah.
The family wants to extend a heartfelt appreciation to Beloit Regional Hospice for their caring support this last year. Special thanks to Ally, Paige Mark and staff.
He was predeceased by his father Herbert "Herb" Shultz, mother-in-law Patricia Staskal, aunts and uncles.
Funeral service for Tom will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 8, 2018 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, with Chaplain Mark Maxted officiating. Burial will be in Plymouth Cemetery. Visitation of remembrance will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service Thursday in the funeral home.
Memorials may be given in his name to Beloit Regional Hospice.
