Judith Ann Draeving, 73, of Beloit, WI, died Monday, October 29, 2018 in her home.
She was born October 5, 1945 in Beloit, WI, the daughter of Arnold and Evelyn (Redieske) Baars. Judy was a 1963 graduate of South Beloit High School, South Beloit, IL. She married Robert LeRoy Draeving on June 22, 1963 in St. John Lutheran Church, Beloit, WI. He predeceased her on July 8, 2001.
Judy was the co-founder with her husband of Draeving Machine & Tool. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, traveling, playing cards, playing Bunco, going to the casino, craft shows, and decorating for the holidays.
Survivors include her two sons, Robert (Bev) Draeving Jr. and Michael Draeving both of Beloit, WI; grandchildren, Michael Draeving Jr., Ryan (Ashley) Draeving, Ashley (Brandon) Allen, Tiffany (fiancÚ, Eric Miller) Draeving and Melany (Joe) Palombi; great grandchildren, Wyatt, Sawyer, Jackson, Paisley, and Hoytt; significant other, Lloyd Keltner of Beloit, WI; brother, Arnold (Eleanor) Baars of Bergland, MI; sisters, Ruth DeuVall and Nancy (John Smith) Gavney both of Beloit, WI; in-laws, Roger Ostenson, Ken (Judy) Draeving, Sandy Draeving all of Beloit, WI, and John Hamel of Tampa, FL; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, grandson Todd Draeving, sister JoAnn Ostenson, brothers-in-law John Gavney and Ron Draeving and sister-in-law Betty Hamel.
Judy's family would like to thank her close family and friends that gave her the opportunity to live out her final months in the comfort of her home.
Funeral services for Judy will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 2, 2018 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, with Reverend Larry Froemming officiating. Burial will be in Plymouth Cemetery. Visitation of remembrance will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
A memorial will be established in her name at a later date.
