Beloit man pleads to sexual assault of child

JANESVILLE - A Beloit man pleaded guilty Wednesday to a charge of repeated sexual assault of a child.

Alfredo Anaya Sr., 57, entered a guilty plea as part of a plea agreement in Rock County Circuit Court.

Anaya was accused of assaulting young girls between the ages of 6 and 11, according to court records.

He was arrested in July of 2017 following a Beloit Police Department investigation that found the assaults occurred at a home in the 1700 block of St. Lawrence Avenue between December of 2014 to January of 2017.

No sentencing date has been set.
