'Vote Gummow for clerk post'

Print Article

I met Lori Gummow this summer at the Boone County Fair, when I went to the Republican tent to say hi to some long time friends.

On the second day of me hanging around the tent, Lori asked me if I would take pictures for her Facebook Page, and we've been friends ever since.

Since then, I have learned more than I ever wanted to know about local politics, by attending events with her and taking pictures.

I am a volunteer, so I don't get paid to do this stuff. If it wasn't enjoyable, I wouldn't be doing it. Not only is Lori supremely qualified to run the County Clerk's Office, but she is one of the nicest, and most thoughtful people I have ever known. If anyone can get the best out of the people who work for her, and foster an atmosphere of cooperation and teamwork within local government agencies, it's Lori.

Like her cousin said during a speech at her fundraiser, "Nobody doesn't like Lori!" We are very fortunate to have a candidate of her caliber.
