'Another good Night Out'

Neighbors meeting neighbors happened in the middle of the 800 block of 8th Street for National Night Out. The rain ended the evening early.

Thank you to the neighbors who grilled and brought out a canopy to protect the food the neighbors provided, along with tables and chairs. The food was delicious and enjoyed by all.

The kids got to ride their bikes in the street safely and even enjoyed a bubble machine.

Thanks to Mike and his fellow firemen for stopping by with a fire truck. Thanks to Jim and Chris who came by on their bikes from the Beloit Police Department to visit with the neighbors. Can't forget to thank Deb and Crime Stoppers for bringing Culver's donated custard cones to our neighborhood. It was a delicious dessert after the good food we had enjoyed.

Appreciate Lt. John Kaltenbrun for organizing another National Night Out. Thanks to the street crew for dropping off the barricades.

Another good National Night Out on Aug. 7.
