Good News: Kerry helps with bicycles
Some children at the Stateline Boys and Girls Club recently received bicycles that were assembled by Kerry employees and then given to the children.
As part of a team-building exercise called “The Bicycle Factory” six teams from Kerry’s Beverage Business Unit participated in a competition to earn pieces of a brand new bike and tools to build bikes for unknown customers. Later, it was revealed the bicycles were to be given to Stateline Boys and Girls Club members.
“This was a top secret initiative and no one knew what was going to happen. The kids were excited when they learned they could keep the bikes,” said Fred Buggs, chief professional officer at Stateline Boys and Girls club.
